Commercial Display Energy Certificates Sussex

PDQ Solutions provide commercial display energy certificate (DEC's) assessments for Surrey
commercial property owners.

Commercial display energy certificates (DEC's) will shows the actual energy usage of any commercial building
accross Sussex, including the operational rating. This will help you and the public see the energy efficiency of your building.

Central and Local Government, Buildings under Local Authority control will be required to display energy certificates
where the public have access. Examples of such buildings include:

Care Homes under Local Authority control.
Courts
Executive Agencies of the Government
Her Majesty's Prisons
Hospitals (Private Hospitals are excluded)
Leisure Centres (Excluding private clubs)
MOD (Ministry of Defence)
NHS trusts
Offices
Police
Public authority sponsored museums and art galleries
Public Libraries
Schools & Education Centres
Universities & Colleges

These buildings accross Sussex will be required to display the DEC in a prominent place (no smaller than A3 in size is recommended) and should include the operational rating of the building based on actual statistics (utility bills and costing) of the current and previous two years (if available). The DEC basically provides information as to whether the buildings energy performance is improving or not.
